“ Highly recommended! Ordered a family sausage and garlic well done, shrimp dinner, and mostaccioli with sausage and ate at the restaurant. Pizza was excellent! Next time I would go with "easy garlic" as someone else suggested. Fried shrimp were larger, butterflied pieces, very good! Mostaccioli was noodles with sauce ladled over it. It was a bit watery. I would prefer the sauce/pasta to be mixed. But the noodles were perfectly al dente and the sauce was good. The pizza was some of the best Chicago style thin crust tavern pizza I've had. ”

Delicious Thin Crust 14” w/ sausage and pineapple. 23.25 plus 2.49 Tax and a third party order site (Slice) at 1.49 so Total was 27.23 There are a couple of other Pizza places around that slip in multiple fees without notice. Joe’s Pizzeria has been in the same location for 40 years but this was our First Time! We will be back as their whole Menu looks Great and is fairly priced. Be well. ”
“ Blown away!! Definitely the best Chicago style thin crust within a 40 mile radius!! I have a select few in Lake county. Within a few bites this place took over everything and I'm dying to make another trip! I'm a pizza fanatic and your pizza had me in astonishment. The sauce has major (fresh tomato) flavor, The dough takes the cake for anything a pizza restaurant would want and hope to achieve. I am in love. To make it better they actually came out and greeted every customer, they then asked how they liked their pizza? This is a retro joint with decades of history,( rated amongst Chicago's best). I absolutely love the service they provide along with the nostalgia. This is what you do not see nowadays at any establishment.. Keep serving up that !! Definitely on my list of best pizza places in the Chicago land, you've got a lifelong customer! (My daughter absolutely loved the wings as well!!) ”
“ I had curbside pickup and the gentleman was extremely pleasant and friendly, full of smiles. I told him I saw the reviews and wanted to see for myself and he chuckled and asked first time? You are going to love it he said. I ordered it well done and that's exactly what I was given, perfectly well done. My thin crust pie is full all the way to the edge and holy cow that first bite. I'm on a job for the next 2 years out here and this is where I will be going for dinner. Thank you for the pie.... very very pleased. Edit : I saw a previous post saying this is the best pizza within a 40 mile radius, i can't confirm that but I would be willing to bet money on it !!! ”
